Home and medical office in Xhoris.

On the street side, the stone walls privatize the house and preserve the slopes of the field. The open front yard to access the dwelling is reinforced by the carport made of a cantilevered slab on two sides.

The difference in level between the street and the garden led up to a half level distribution. This interior layout creates perspectives between spaces through the central staircase.

On top of the stones walls, the wood volume develops freely along the length as needed :
- to realise a terrace, the mass is “dug” and the cladding change to black panels
- in front of some windows, the wood continues and gives some intimacy to the inside spaces.

The harmony and the sobriety of the exterior shades perfectly integrate the project into its rural environment.
