An old private house in an old village along Hamakaido, Kusatsu City in Shiga Prefecture. A home for a couple.

While respecting the flow of time, we intended to create a new living space that is a mixture of what will be inherited, what will end, what will be transferred, and what will be new.

The accumulation of parts piled up like bricolage, clothed in richness from the accumulation of time and lightness from gaps and crossings, weaves a story for the future.
