Leja's house

All the interior and exterior living spaces of the dwelling are structured by four massive walls in natural stones. Relatively closed on the access side, the spaces open up completely on the garden.

The rows of minimalist windows set back from the facades create covered exterior spaces such as terraces and sun protections for the living spaces inside the house.

The other material chosen to match with the natural stones is the raw steel which is used both inside (stairs, wood fireplace, …) and outside (wall cover, plant container, …).

The roof is totally covered with wood and contains the night spaces. The wood cladding integrates all the architectural elements (cornices, chimney pipe, etc). The terraces are carefully integrated into the mass.

The exterior access to the basement is integrated in the natural slope of the site.
